Stopanska Banka is the biggest and oldest bank in Macedonia. As its 70th anniversary approached, the bank wanted to use the opportunity to strengthen its relationship with its clients and the wider community, and position itself as a modern company. Macedonians have a very poor opinion of banks so we also needed to show that Stopanska was socially responsible.



For the past 70 years, Stopanska Banka’s messaging had been about being on the side of its customers. However, while having a rich history of investing in different social responsibility projects, the bank was not perceived as a valuable contributor to the wider community. We needed to engage the target audience of urban customers 25-55 with an above average income. We would create a 70th anniversary project that would engage the public and clearly demonstrate both the bank’s social commitment and its technological innovation
